Moeness? This is Lucky☆Star!

April 23rd, 2007

Ah, the spring anime. There are probably tons of new anime out there, and I’ve only manage to watch some. So, I’ve decide to give some of them early episodes impression, a short review, judged not only on the first episode.

For a start, enter Lucky Star.

Lucky Star

LuckyStar, so moé that I only manage to watch half of the first episode.

Seriously, I would’ve drop this series if it wasn’t for the second episode which is slightly better than the whole ‘how to eat your food’ thingy. The second episode emphasis more on Konata character, seems like most of us (read:animanga lover) dream girl: Likes anime, manga, games, cosplaying and tech stuff.

Konata-Drill

Animation? I’ve only watch a bit of Kanon, while it does not as good as Kanon, in my humble opinion the animation is decent, suitable for this kind of anime and KyoAni did really well here.

The opening is indeed catchy, remind me of Hare Yukai, but I guess the Gunplay version is better ;) Jk. And the ending theme? Different karaoke song for every episode turns out to be fun, couldn’t be any better.

The only thing left to be worried about is how the storyline going to evolve, as I’m interested in watching more. Just hoping that the first episode storyline won’t happen again. Zettai!

I agree, this show is a little to moe for my liking. But I have to disagree when people say that the opening is catchy. It seems more like an audio holocaust to me. ;)

I would keep watching it if i were you.

After watching the series 3 times, i can tell you that the first episode is the biggest steaming pile ive ever seen. However, it is my favorite series. The character development is amazing.

    Hang in there.
